More information about the OlderSibling location service
-
OlderSibling.com is a
Bluetooth® tracking system.
It allows users to follow the locations of
Bluetooth® microchips,
like the ones in cell phones.
You can see when your spouse is home or when your daughter got home last night. Plus, all of our services are 100% free and can be run on devices you probably already own. We don't sell or distribute your data to any third parties. Our software won't slow down your computer and it isn't malware or malicious in any way.
More -
Bluetooth® locators find when your cell phone is proximate. So people
can see when you're home, but they can't see your location at all times.
Plus, you can shut off your phone's
Bluetooth® to remain hidden.
You can download free software on our site to make your computer a locator. To learn more, watch our video about signing up.
Signup video -
At OlderSibling we are working on putting
Bluetooth® chips in key fobs,
necklaces, id cards and other everyday items, so OlderSibling service
will work without a phone.
OlderSibling.com was founded in upstate New York in 2010 with the goal of helping people track their loved ones, and to tell me where I left my damn car keys. Our attempt to do this is split up into four different though interrelated purposes:
+ a social website
+ an employee tracking website
+ a website geared at parents and children
+ and applications that help you find your stuff (keys, wallet, remote, etc.)
We aim to accomplish this in socially responsible ways. Everyone wants their privacy, and we don't want to infringe upon that. Rather, we want to spotlight the beneficial aspects of location awareness.
